Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck McBuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russo comes to the ring accompanied by Destroy Everything. Chuck McBuck has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Russo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck McBuck! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russo slips a jab from McBuck. McBuck misses the jab. Russo slips under a jab. Russo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Russo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Chuck McBuck has been cut. A shot to the body from McBuck misses and McBuck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Russo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McBuck manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Russo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Russo wants to pass the guard but McBuck is keeping the position. McBuck not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo trying to control but McBuck is working from the bottom. Russo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McBuck manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Russo has McBuck in his guard. Russo keeping moving, preventing McBuck from controlling successfully. Russo working for a triangle but McBuck defends it easily.
McBuck has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Russo is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McBuck preventing the sweep. McBuck must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Russo is trying to control the position but McBuck postures up. Russo looking for a sweep. Not yet Russo, not yet. Russo wants to improve his position but instead McBuck has moved into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Russo actively working from the bottom here. McBuck prevents Russo from improving his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Russo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McBuck to score with a decent uppercut. McBuck throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Russo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McBuck! McBuck blocking the ground and pound. Russo throws a sloppy strike and McBuck uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and McBuck has ended up in Russo's guard.
Russo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Russo throws a strike but McBuck avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Russo throwing strikes from guard but McBuck blocks nicely. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Russo looking to pass the guard. Russo looking to sit in guard and control but McBuck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Russo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McBuck! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Russo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chuck McBuck's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Russo fails with a takedown attempt. Russo moves out of range as McBuck strikes. Russo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Russo wants to lay and pray for a moment but McBuck keeps working. Russo throws an elbow but McBuck slips to the side and avoids it well. Russo throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and McBuck works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russo wants to take a breather but McBuck is having none of it. Russo working the head and body with strikes. Russo controlling the action here. Russo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. McBuck is trying to stand.
Russo looks to land a strike but McBuck avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McBuck trying to keep a closed guard but Russo is proving a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Russo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McBuck throws out a loose jab but Russo uses good head movement to avoid it. McBuck throws a hook but Russo avoids it easily. Chuck McBuck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McBuck misses with a double jab
and Russo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russo looks to land a right hand but McBuck moved out of range. Russo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McBuck. McBuck thows a left - swing and a miss! Russo tries for a takedown but McBuck sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McBuck swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Russo counters with a shoot takedown. McBuck fights it but they end up in guard. Russo trying to control but McBuck is working from the bottom. Russo looking to sit in guard and control but McBuck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Russo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McBuck defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Russo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McBuck is aware though and is defending well. Russo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Russo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Russo wants to take a breather but McBuck is having none of it. Russo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McBuck misses with a hook. McBuck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Russo. Russo throws an overhand right that lands on McBuck's shoulder, as McBuck tries to avoid the shot. McBuck throws a nice looking combination but Russo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Russo walks into a left hand.
It looks like Jimmy Russo has been cut. McBuck throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Russo blocks a jab. Jimmy Russo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Russo swinging wilding here.

Russo moves out of range of the strikes. Russo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. McBuck is trying to defend but Russo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. McBuck takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Russo is trying to control the action in half guard but McBuck is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Russo seems content to control. Russo looks to land a strike but McBuck avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Russo trying to control but McBuck is working from the bottom. Russo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Russo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Russo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McBuck swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of McBuck's head. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Russo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Russo trying to move into half guard but instead McBuck has managed to sweep! Russo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Russo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McBuck has picked Russo up and slammed him! Russo can't keep hold of the triangle and McBuck manages to pass to side control! Russo gets back to half guard. Chuck McBuck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. McBuck is keen to just control but Russo is a slippery customer. Russo is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Russo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Russo is in all sorts of trouble here.
Russo manages to regain half guard. Good work. Russo wants to control the action here but instead McBuck manages to pass to full mount! Jimmy Russo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Russo is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck McBuck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Russo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
