The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fennessy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Montoya pushes Fennessy back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Montoya scores with a hook to the body.
Fennessy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fennessy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Montoya dodges the punch combination from Fennessy.
Montoya tries to clinch up
and Fennessy counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fennessy is looking to work some ground and pound but Montoya has wrist control.
Fennessy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Fennessy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Montoya with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fennessy to score with a decent uppercut.
Fennessy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Montoya tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Fennessy counters by clinching up.
Montoya misses with a short punch on the inside.
Fennessy misses with a punch to the body.
Fennessy looking for a takedown.
Fennessy breaks the clinch.
Montoya wants to clinch.
Montoya takes the fight into the clinch.

Montoya lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fennessy backwards.
Montoya has Fennessy pressed against the cage, preventing Fennessy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Still in the clinch, Montoya scores with a nice short uppercut.
Montoya lands a nice shot to the body.
Montoya lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fennessy backwards.

Montoya lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Fennessy is rocked!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Montoya.
Oh Fennessy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Montoya lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Fennessy to his knees! Montoya keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
