And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dos Anos.
Dos Anos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hannedy avoids it really well and circles away.
Hannedy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dos Anos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dos Anos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hannedy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hannedy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hannedy tries to free his leg and advance position but Dos Anos is retaining full guard.
Hannedy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Hannedy wants to pass the guard but Dos Anos is defending well.
Hannedy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dos Anos defend it? Hannedy steps over the head and cranks it - Dos Anos is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hannedy!
