The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parviainen tries to avoid it but Dos Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parviainen to the ground. Parviainen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parviainen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Parviainen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dos Santos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Parviainen's guard now.
Dos Santos wants to control from the top but Parviainen keeps moving.
Parviainen wants to improve his position but instead Dos Santos has moved into half guard.
Dos Santos seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Parviainen wants to get back to full guard.
Dos Santos wants to free his trapped foot but Parviainen is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dos Santos passes the guard and advances to mount!
Dos Santos is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dos Santos extends the arm and Parviainen is forced to tap!
