Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Death (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gromlit Becah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steven Death! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gromlit Becah! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Becah instigates a clinch. Becah trying to stall but Death improves his position.
Becah stalling the fight.
Death wants to break the clinch but can't.
Becah is pushing Death up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Gromlit Becah. Death tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Becah swivels and escapes. Death tries to clinch but Becah moves away and Death takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Death shoots in and drives through. Becah sprawls well. Becah clinches up with Death and pushes him back against the cage. Death is trying to break the clinch but Becah is controlling him. Death decides to pull guard. Becah wants to stand but Death has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Death trying to control the position.
Becah tries to stand but Death is controlling from the bottom. Death is trying to keep Becah in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Becah wants to stand but Death is controlling his posture from full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Becah moves into the clinch successfully.
The referee calls for Becah to work.
Death has Becah pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Becah manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Death. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Becah taking a breather. Becah is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Gromlit Becah. Becah takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Becah misses with a series of wild punches.
Death fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Becah. Death tries for a takedown but Becah circles away easily and Becah connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Becah is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Becah drives through and clinches with Death against the cage.
Death is stalling here.
Death tries to land a knee to the head but Becah blocks with his arms.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Becah takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Becah is trying to maintain a safe position but Death gets an underhook and turns Becah into the cage. Becah looks gassed! Death misses with a knee strike.
Death pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gromlit Becah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Horrible takedown by Death or perhaps it was just good defense by Becah which made him look bad. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Death scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Becah is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Steven Death will probably get the nod. That's time! Death's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Becah forces Death back against the cage and clinches. Becah is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Death tightens his grip and picks Becah up, before dumping him to the ground. Becah manages to land in guard. Death controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Death really is a fat lump. Death passes Becah's left leg - he's now in half guard. Becah is not content to let Death control the position. Death is thwarting Becah's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Becah is pressing down on Death's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Becah is breathing heavily. Death sitting in guard, not really doing much. Becah trying to control the position.
Death might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Becah keeping moving, preventing Death from controlling successfully. Becah is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Death is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Death makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Death. Death is working an open guard so Becah takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Becah tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Becah scores with a three punch combo!
Death closes the distance looking to clinch and Becah counters with a good, hard body kick but Death shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Becah drives through and clinches with Death against the cage.
Becah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Death fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Death closes the distance but Becah moves to the side and Becah counters with a two punch combo. Death wants to clinch but Becah slips to the side and Becah counters with a straight right hand. Becah tries to close the distance and clinch up but Death swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Death throws a lazy head kick and Becah counters with a nice low kick that buckles Death's knee momentarily. Becah feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Death's calf. Death tries to clinch but fails miserably and Becah cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gromlit Becah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Death gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Becah makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Death really felt that one! The fight stays on the outside here - Becah looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Becah lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Death throws a left and a right that both miss
and Becah counters with a two punch combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Becah gets in close and instigates a clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Becah breaks the clinch.
Becah lands a glancing blow to the side of Death's head. Death throws a lazy head kick and Becah counters by moving into the clinch. The referee calls for Becah to work.
Death jumps guard but Becah stands there with Death around his waist. Death gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Becah displaying some good clinch control by pressing Death up against the cage. Death tries to pull guard but Becah won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Death. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Death as Becah tries to tie him up. Death fails to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Becah holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Death looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Becah pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Death doesn't succeed with the takedown and Becah makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Death wants to clinch but Becah slips to the side and Becah counters with a head kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Becah. Death clinches but Becah breaks the clinch and Becah counters by clinching up. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Death fails to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Becah is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Death is keeping busy. Death looking for a takedown. Becah is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Becah stalling against the cage.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Gromlit Becah. Becah's corner calls for a 1-2. Becah obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Becah circles away from the clinch attempt and Becah counters with a low kick, right behind Death 's knee.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Death fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Becah sprawls well initially but Death persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Becah is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Death's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Death's back! Death rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Death has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Becah is working away from the top position though. Becah tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Death. Death manages to get to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Gromlit Becah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Becah has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
