Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Kyoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Felipe Kyoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Fedor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Kyoto! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kyoto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kyoto showed some decent athleticism there. Kyoto seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Kyoto is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Fedor has managed to free his arm - good work. Kyoto is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kyoto works his way into side control. Kyoto trying to control the position but Fedor is working away. Fedor is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyoto staying calm. Fedor is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Fedor being controlled for a moment. You can see the frustration on Fedor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fedor tries to bench press Kyoto off him but Kyoto keeps the position. Kyoto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fedor keeps working.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kyoto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fedor's waist but Fedor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kyoto off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kyoto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kyoto showed some decent athleticism there. Fedor moves into full guard.
Kyoto trying to control but Fedor is working from the bottom. Kyoto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kyoto tries to free his leg and advance position but Fedor is retaining full guard. Fedor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kyoto is controlling him. Fedor keeping moving, preventing Kyoto from controlling successfully. Fedor looking for a sweep. Not yet Fedor, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedor throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fedor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fedor doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kyoto counters with a shoot takedown. Fedor fights it but they end up in guard. Kyoto is stalling in the full guard. Kyoto postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Fedor looking to control.
Kyoto preventing the sweep. Kyoto throwing strikes from guard but Fedor blocks nicely. Kyoto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kyoto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kyoto looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kyoto thows a big elbow that misses. Fedor keeping full guard, as Kyoto tries to pass.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kyoto has his takedown stuffed and Fedor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fedor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Fedor working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fedor stands up over Kyoto, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Fedor controlling from the top position. Kyoto throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Kyoto dominated that round. That's time! Fedor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fedor fails with the takedown and Kyoto counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kyoto. Kyoto drops back looking for a leg! Fedor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fedor manages to kick Kyoto off! Kyoto jumps back into Fedor's guard. Fedor throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Fedor trying to keep a closed guard but Kyoto is proving a slippery customer.
Kyoto slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fedor throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Fedor is working an open guard so Kyoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kyoto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fedor! Kyoto lands a nice shot to the head. Fedor is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kyoto lands with some strikes. Kyoto controlling the position easily from mount. Fedor is desperately trying to improve his position but Kyoto has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kyoto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fedor can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kyoto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fedor can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Felipe Kyoto has got the better of the ground game so far. Fedor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kyoto wants to control the pace but Fedor is squirming around nicely. Fedor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kyoto tries to control but Fedor wriggling away. Fedor is trying to stand up. Kyoto blocks Fedor's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedor has left one of his arms exposed and Kyoto doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Fedor screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
