Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Matsuyushi Nakimurika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minoshi Kawajari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakimurika comes to the ring accompanied by Angry Again. Minoshi Kawajari told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matsuyushi Nakimurika!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minoshi Kawajari!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawajari shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nakimurika as he avoids it easily.
Kawajari shoots in for a double leg but Nakimurika sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Nakimurika lands an overhand right.
Kawajari defending well as Nakimurika loads up on a big left hand.
Nakimurika tries to clinch but Kawajari moves out of range.
Kawajari uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nakimurika.
Kawajari shoots in and bounces Nakimurika off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Nakimurika is trying to control the position but Kawajari postures up.
Nakimurika manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kawajari manages to get himself to full guard.

Matsuyushi Nakimurika has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minoshi Kawajari.
Nakimurika keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kawajari gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kawajari escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nakimurika gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kawajari is still in real trouble! Can Nakimurika finish him?

Nakimurika controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kawajari seems to have recovered his senses.

and Kawajari takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nakimurika throws a jab when Kawajari was well out of range.

Kawajari shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Nakimurika counter with a right hand.

and Nakimurika counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Nakimurika counters with a one-two to the body.
Nakimurika really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Nice takedown defense from Nakimurika. No joy for Kawajari on that attempt.
Nakimurika tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kawajari swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kawajari keeps control of Nakimurika as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kawajari is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nakimurika is pushing down on Kawajari's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kawajari is fighting to maintain full guard but Nakimurika has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nakimurika seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kawajari does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Nakimurika wants to free his trapped foot but Kawajari is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Nakimurika is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kawajari wants to improve his position but Nakimurika is controlling well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Kawajari shoots and misses
and Nakimurika counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kawajari won't be happy with that.
Nakimurika will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kawajari is looking to reverse the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kawajari is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Nakimurika off and has taken his back!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kawajari is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Nakimurika won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kawajari off his unconscious opponent!
