The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown scores with a jab to the body.
Brown missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brown scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Brown lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Cliff Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
