The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rocha lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brezovec circles away quickly and effectively.

Rocha wants to break the clinch but can't.
A frustrated look appears on Brezovec's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Rocha tries to land knees in the clinch but Brezovec avoids the damage to the body.
Brezovec has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rocha has gone for a leg lock! Brezovec slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rocha's guard.

Rocha has his feet on Brezovec's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rocha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brezovec paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Brezovec slips a jab and a cross from Rocha.

Brezovec is bucking up trying to escape but Rocha cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rocha pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rocha connects with a body shot.
Rocha lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Rocha fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rocha is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rocha connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Brezovec tumbling to the canvas! Rocha pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Brezovec was done - good stoppage!
