Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chance Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Tatum finishes the takedown easily into guard. Miller is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tatum is aware though and is defending well. Miller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Miller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Miller controls Tatum momentarily but Tatum frees himself. Miller is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tatum not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tatum gets a takedown into half guard. Miller gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatum wants to stand but Miller has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Tatum's corner is telling him to maintain position. Miller wants to sweep here but Tatum controlling him for the moment. Tatum seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tatum's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Miller trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tatum not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tatum prevents Miller from getting back to his feet. Tatum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller looks gassed! Miller is looking for a triangle here but Tatum uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Tatum is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Miller's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Chance Tatum just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Tatum looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tatum not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tatum has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Miller can't keep his opponent in guard - Tatum advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tatum with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tatum lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Tatum is taking a breather. Miller says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Tatum is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miller is just riding it out for now. Tatum eventually gives up the hold. Tatum looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Tatum dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tatum gets the takedown into side control. Miller sneaks back into half guard. Tatum has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tatum with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tatum stands up from mount. Strange move. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tatum swats away the attempt to clinch by Miller.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tatum decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miller's guard. Chance Tatum overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tatum controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Chance Tatum just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Tatum forces Miller back against the cage and clinches. Miller prevents a takedown attempt there.
Miller is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Miller is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tatum is keeping busy. Tatum is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Miller can't fight it off and eventually Tatum manages to take the fight to the floor. Miller looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Miller wants to stand but Tatum is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatum showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tatum pushes down on Miller's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tatum controlling the action here. Miller wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Miller trying to hold on to Tatum's head to control him but Tatum postures up.
Tatum is working for a kimura but Miller is defending it quite comfortably.
Tatum slows the pace down in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Tatum dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Tatum steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miller. Tatum gets the takedown into side control. Miller wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Tatum tries for a kimura but Miller is defending well. Miller tries to improve position but can't. Both fighters are breathing heavily. You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tatum stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller has his takedown stuffed and Tatum counters with a nice double leg into guard. Miller is trying to control the position but Tatum postures up. Tatum working some strikes from top position. Tatum's corner is telling him to maintain position. Tatum preventing the sweep. Tatum controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller trying to strike off his back.
Tatum preventing the sweep. Tatum is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Miller looking for a sweep. Not yet Miller, not yet. Miller has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tatum has passed into side control.
Tatum is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Miller will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Chance Tatum just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Tatum shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Miller is trying to defend but Tatum finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Miller makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Tatum tries to clinch but Miller is having none of it. Tatum moves into the clinch.

Miller is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Tatum tightens his grip and picks Miller up, before dumping him to the ground. Miller manages to land in guard. Tatum sitting in guard, not really doing much. Tatum postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Chance Tatum showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tatum has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
