Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dredick Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Volkov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dredick Tatum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander Volkov! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatum throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tatum connects with a looping right hand.
Tatum bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Volkov has Tatum up against the cage in a clinch.
Volkov has hold of one of Tatum's legs. Tatum is fighting the takedown attempt but Volkov gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Volkov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Volkov wants to control from the top but Tatum keeps moving. Volkov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Tatum not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tatum can't keep his opponent in guard - Volkov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Volkov throwing shots but Tatum is blocking nicely. Volkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Volkov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Volkov sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Volkov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Volkov thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Volkov throwing strikes here but Tatum is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Tatum tries to lock up and control but Volkov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tatum avoids a series of strikes thrown by Volkov.

Volkov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tatum is looking to escape. Tatum is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Volkov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tatum manages to avoid the submission attempt. Volkov swings around for an armbar but Tatum sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Volkov's guard. Tatum is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Volkov is on top in guard.
Volkov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Volkov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tatum being controlled here, momentarily. Tatum can't keep his opponent in guard - Volkov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Volkov slows the pace down in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Volkov thows a huge punch but Tatum dodges it nicely.
Volkov sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tatum defending well though. Tatum avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Volkov. Volkov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Volkov wants to free his trapped foot but Tatum is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tatum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Volkov on the ground. Volkov controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Volkov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Volkov darts in and clinches Tatum up against the cage. Tatum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tatum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Volkov has managed to clinch.
Volkov pulls guard successfully.
Volkov has an active guard here but Tatum has managed to pass into half guard.
Volkov gets full guard. Tatum has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Volkov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tatum is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Volkov pulls down on the head and he's put Tatum to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Alexander Volkov!
