Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhys Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moore's entrance music is Five Finger Death Punch - Dying Breed. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rhys Killer! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Killer's calf. Killer shoots in and drives through. Moore sprawls well. Killer tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Moore moves into the clinch. Killer takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Rhys Killer has been cut. A looping hook to the body misses from Killer. Moore does a little dance to reset his feet. Killer fails with a takedown attempt. Moore has Killer up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moore closes the distance and clinches. Moore connects with a nasty looking knee right to Killer's face.
The is referee keeping an eye on Moore - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Clayton Moore dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Rhys Killer's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Killer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moore lands with a kick to the temple. Killer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Moore fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Killer, pushing him back against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Moore. Killer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Moore is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Killer takes an elbow to the temple. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Killer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Moore is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Moore unloads a knee to the mid-section.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Clayton Moore is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moore's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Killer is trying to control but can't.
