Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yun Zheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Tassen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zheng comes to the cage accompanied by CHINA: AK-47 . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yun Zheng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Tassen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zheng looks for a takedown but Tassen sprawls well.
Zheng drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zheng.
Tassen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zheng is defended easily by Tassen.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yun Zheng. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zheng shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zheng showed some decent athleticism there.
Tassen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tassen is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zheng is trying to control. Tassen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Tassen wants to get back to full guard.
Tassen is defending against the submission attempts here by Zheng.
Tassen is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Zheng jumps into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Tassen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tassen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tassen gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Zheng controlling the position easily from mount.

Zheng trying to control but Tassen is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tassen is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Zheng moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tassen has worked his arm free - good work by Tassen!
Zheng is trying to get an arm triangle but Tassen is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Yun Zheng will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Zheng shoots in for a takedown but Tassen shows good takedown defense.
Nice body punch from Tassen.
Tassen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zheng shoots in looking for a takedown. Tassen tries to sprawl out of it but Zheng keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tassen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yun Zheng. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A cross from Tassen lands.
Tassen lands with an overhand left.
Tassen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Zheng on the side of the head.
Zheng takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tassen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Zheng shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tassen pinned against the cage. Tassen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tassen throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Zheng colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Tassen as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Zheng is left battered and dazed whilst Tassen and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Tassen!
