Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duy Vo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barney Stinson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Stinson misses.
Vo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stinson tries a head kick but it misses.
Stinson throws a right hand that Vo ducks under and follows up with a left that Vo also avoids with ease.
Vo has managed to clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Stinson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Stinson is trying to break the clinch but Vo is controlling him.
Vo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stinson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stinson fails to land with a series of punches.
A slow jab from Vo misses its intended target.
Vo rushes Stinson and presses him up against the cage.
Vo lands a hook to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Vo.
Stinson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Vo lands with a left to the head.
Vo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stinson throws a body punch but Vo moves out of range.
Stinson throws a hook to the side of Vo's head but Vo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stinson swings for the body but Vo moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stinson.
Vo misses with a looping right.
Stinson needs to keep his hands up - Vo had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Barney Stinson has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by Vo as he connects with a hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stinson wants to clinch but Vo slips to the side
and Stinson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vo throws out a loose jab but Stinson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Barney Stinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vo ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Stinson's jaw. Stinson's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Vo does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Duy Vo!
