Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sandro Rturi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marin Zeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zeus's choice of entrance music: Step Up by Drowning Pool. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Rturi misses.
Zeus shoots for a double leg takedown but Rturi sprawls well. He's pushed Zeus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zeus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Horrible takedown by Zeus or perhaps it was just good defense by Rturi which made him look bad.
Zeus avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Rturi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Zeus rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rturi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zeus is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Zeus connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rturi's face.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Zeus jumps guard but Rturi stands there with Zeus around his waist. Zeus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Zeus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rturi throws a nice looking combination but Zeus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zeus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Rturi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zeus to the mat! Zeus manages to get full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Zeus throws a head kick that Rturi semi-blocks.
Zeus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Zeus is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Zeus is trying to control the action in half guard but Rturi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rturi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zeus on the ground.
Zeus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rturi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rturi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zeus throwing shots but Rturi is blocking nicely.
Zeus working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zeus connects with a nice short shot to Rturi's temple.
Zeus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Zeus stalling.
Zeus escapes and gets back to his feet.
Rturi fails with a takedown attempt.
Rturi slaps away a takedown attempt from Zeus, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marin Zeus dominated that round.

Zeus goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Marin Zeus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zeus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rturi defends it nicely.
Zeus moves into the clinch.
Zeus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Rturi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Zeus kicks Rturi off and gets to his feet.

and Zeus counters with a single leg into guard. Rturi didn't expect that.
Zeus gets to his feet. Rturi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Zeus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rturi.
Zeus tries to clinch but Rturi is having none of it.

Zeus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zeus throws a hook but Rturi avoids it easily.

Zeus clinches up with Rturi and pushes him back against the cage.

Zeus controlling the action here for a moment.
Zeus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rturi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Zeus lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Zeus manages to break the clinch.
Zeus drives through and clinches with Rturi against the cage.

Zeus wants to clinch up but Rturi keeps it at a distance.
Zeus shoots in but Rturi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zeus closes the distance and clinches up with Rturi, looking for a takedown. Zeus pushes Rturi against the cage but Rturi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zeus shoots in and bounces Rturi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zeus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rturi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zeus has gone for a leg lock! Rturi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Zeus's guard.
Zeus has his feet on Rturi's thighs here. He's pushed Rturi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rturi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
