The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vukovic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sugawara's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sugawara duly obliges.
Vukovic takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vukovic throws a sloppy head kick and Sugawara moves out of range easily.
Vukovic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sugawara scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sugawara lands with a nice body punch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Vukovic is breathing heavily.

Sugawara goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Vukovic fails with a takedown attempt.

Sugawara throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sugawara connects with a single shot there.
Vukovic is rocked!
Vukovic takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Sugawara has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Sugawara bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vukovic's head backwards.
Sugawara connects with a looping right hand.
Oh Vukovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Naoto Sugawara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sugawara digs a good hook to Vukovic's body.
Sugawara stuns Vukovic with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sugawara connects with a superb combination that knocks Vukovic out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Sugawara before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Vukovic!
