The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy is looking to slow Khmelnytsky down with leg kicks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hardy looks to land a right hand but Khmelnytsky moved out of range.

Hardy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hardy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khmelnytsky .

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hardy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Khmelnytsky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Khmelnytsky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Khmelnytsky takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Hardy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Khmelnytsky throws out the jab.

Hardy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hardy seems to have recovered his senses.
Hardy throws a combination that misses
and Khmelnytsky counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Hardy to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Khmelnytsky !
