Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aun Drash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's entrance music is Lambada. A fine choice. Aun Drash is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aun Drash!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drash looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Drash working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Drash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Drash tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Drash defends it.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Drash doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.

Drash looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Drash is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!
Drash working to try and regain half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Drash can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gracie is working for a guillotine from mount but Drash frees his head quite easily.

Drash defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie.

Gracie has control of Drash's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Drash regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gracie goes for an armbar but Drash turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Drash.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Drash pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Drash is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Drash prevents Gracie from improving his position.

Drash is looking for a kimura here.

Drash is working for a submission of some sort.

Drash seems to be working for a kimura but Gracie defends the submission attempt.

Drash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gracie defends it well.
Gracie is pressing down on Drash's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Drash thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Drash is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Drash's back instead.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gracie is trying to stick to Drash's back but Drash is turning into Gracie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gracie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Drash.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin Gracie dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Drash moves out of range easily.
Gracie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drash.
Drash with a lazy takedown attempt

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Drash won't be happy with that.

Gracie tries for a kimura but Drash is defending well.
Drash manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gracie's best efforts.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Drash is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Drash doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gracie works his foot free and advances to mount.

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Drash has worked his arm free - good work by Drash!
Drash is looking for a sweep.
Drash is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Drash is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.
Gracie not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Drash looking for submissions off his back.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Gracie is trying for a kimura here. Drash looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gracie wins by kimura!
