Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heddy Lamaar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamaar's entrance music is Pledge To Hedley Lamaar. A fine choice. Wilkins has chosen New Noise as his entrance music. David Wilkins will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Lamaar. Wilkins tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lamaar landing strikes. Lamaar working the body and head with strikes. Wilkins is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lamaar connects with a decent elbow. Lamaar working the ground and pound but Wilkins is defending the strikes. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Lamaar cracks Wilkins with a big right hand but Wilkins just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lamaar trying to control the position but Wilkins is working away. Lamaar is working Wilkins over with some ground and pound from side control. Lamaar misses with the ground and pound. Lamaar grinds an elbow into Wilkins's temple. Lamaar in side control, throwing shots but Wilkins defends. Wilkins is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Lamaar is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wilkins has escaped the position, nice work there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lamaar is trying to get an arm triangle but Wilkins is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamaar has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Wilkins is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lamaar yanks on the arm and Wilkins is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lamaar.
