Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brad Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstatin Bystrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bystrov has chosen GTA 4 Anthem as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bystrov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bystrov lands a slapping body shot.
Bystrov misses with a looping left.
Connor on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Bystrov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bystrov misses with the combination.
Bystrov waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Connor.

and Bystrov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bystrov throws a series of strikes that have Connor backpedaling.
Connor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bystrov's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bystrov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Connor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Connor is trying to keep Bystrov in close.
Bystrov trying to control the position from guard on top but Connor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Connor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bystrov manages to get himself to full guard.
Connor stands and throws Bystrov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bystrov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Connor wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bystrov, who protects the arm well.

Connor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bystrov on the side of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bystrov, as that shot connected.

Bystrov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Connor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bystrov is trying to defend but Connor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

and Bystrov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Bystrov shoots for a takedown but Connor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Connor is looking to control Bystrov's arms but Bystrov gets an underhook and turns him. Now Connor has his back to the cage.
Bystrov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Connor smiles and moves away.
Connor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Connor lands a nice hook to Bystrov's body. Bystrov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Connor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bystrov manages to avoid it.
Bystrov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Connor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bystrov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Connor.
Bystrov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bystrov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and Bystrov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Connor lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Connor wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bystrov is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Connor.
Bystrov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Connor walks away with a smile on his face. Bystrov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Bystrov counters with a left and a right that stings Connor.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Connor dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Connor looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bystrov is defending well. Connor quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bystrov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Connor celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
