The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira closes the distance and pushes Neves back into the cage.
Nogueira wants the takedown. Neves is fighting it off but Nogueira persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Neves's guard against the cage.
Nogueira avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Nogueira stays in close to Neves's body and controls the position.
Neves is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nogueira is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Neves has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Nogueira is looking to defend but Neves has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Nogueira! Neves pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Nogueira taps out and this one is all over!
