Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frank Frazier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Silva! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva moves in looking to clinch but Frazier pushes him off. Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frazier sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Silva scores a takedown into full mount! Silva with good strikes from the mount here! Silva looking to ground and pound but Frazier is blocking nicely. Frazier is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frazier holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Silva tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Frazier tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control. Frazier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frazier wants to control but Silva is having none of it. Silva throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Frazier because Silva loaded up on that one. Silva trying to control but he's not successful this time. Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Frazier sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Frazier looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Frazier is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back! Silva showing good submission defense here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frazier looking for the RNC. Frazier doesn't have the hooks in and Silva manages to turn into his guard.
Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Silva trying to stand up but can't free himself from Frazier's guard. Frazier had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Frazier Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead. Frazier is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Silva tries to kick Frazier off but Frazier keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva. Silva working a defensive guard but Frazier manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frazier tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well. Silva tries to buck Frazier off but Frazier is having none of it. Frazier is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Frazier gets to mount! Silva was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Frank Frazier will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Frazier which made him look bad. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Frazier. Frazier feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Frazier changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Frazier is standing up over Silva. Silva looks to escape but Frazier dives into side control.
Silva is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Frazier asserts his dominance and retains side control. Frazier working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Frazier tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well. Frazier trying to control the position but Silva is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva struggling a bit here. Frazier working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Silva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Silva regains full guard. Nicely done. Silva seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Frazier looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frazier drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Frazier off! Frazier jumps back into Silva's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Frazier dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Frazier with a lazy takedown attempt so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Frazier working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Silva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Silva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Silva with a nice head shot there. Silva thows a big elbow that misses. Frazier is looking to sinch up a triangle. Silva throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Frazier's body to avoid the submission. Frazier has instead reached around Silva's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Frazier arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
