Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Action (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Rock Superstar. Jay Faber looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Faber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Action!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Action instigates a clinch.
Action breaks from the clinch.
Faber instigates a clinch.
Faber wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Faber breaks the clinch.
Faber misses with a head kick.
Action drives through and clinches with Faber against the cage.
Faber jumps guard.
Faber scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Faber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Action but Action pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Faber is breathing heavily.
Faber wants to clinch but Action slips to the side
and Action counters with a head kick.
Faber is rocked!
Faber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oh Faber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Faber swats away the attempt to clinch by Action.
Faber circles away from the clinch attempt.
Faber tries to keep at a distance but Action has taken the fight into the clinch.
Faber seems to have got his legs back now.
Action wants to stall.
Action prevents Faber from breaking the clinch.
Faber can't break the clinch.
Faber trying to land knees to the body.

Faber is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Action lands a nice shot to the body.
Action breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Action doesn't manage to clinch there - Faber circles away.
Action tries to clinch but Faber moves out of range.
Faber is looking to clinch but Action is avoiding it.
Faber goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Dave Action has been cut.
A head kick misses from Action.
Action clinches up against the cage.
Faber looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Faber tries for a takedown but Action manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Faber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Action wants to break free but Faber has control.
Action breaks from the clinch.
Faber keeps the fight on the outside.
Action throws a leg kick which misses Faber's front leg but catches the back leg as Faber tries to avoid it.
Action throws a low kick but Faber avoids it.
Action tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Faber pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Faber closes the distance looking to clinch
and Action counters with a right hand to the body.

and Action holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Faber tries to break the clinch but Action is controlling the position.
Action wants to get back to striking at distance but Faber won't allow it.
Action lands a damaging elbow.
Action with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Faber wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Action lands an elbow inside that Faber shrugs off.
Action wants to get back to striking at distance but Faber won't allow it.
Action manages to break the clinch.
Action moves in looking to clinch but Faber pushes him off.
Action fails with an attempt to clinch.
Faber keeps the fight on the outside.
Action is looking to clinch.
Jay Faber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faber slips a jab and a cross from Action.
Action ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faber moves away.
Faber misses with a two punch combination.

and Faber counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Action!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Faber lands a big shot to the head and Action winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
