Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Vasques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Vasques!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, CJ Henderson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Vasques finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Vasques feints and as Henderson raises his hands in defense, Vasques changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Vasques drops back looking for a leg! Henderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Henderson manages to kick Vasques off! Vasques jumps back into Henderson's guard.

Victor Vasques's cut is getting worse.

Vasques feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
