Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sanjeev Singh!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Miguel both land. Nice combination.

Miguel closes the distance and clinches.
Singh blocks an elbow strike.

Singh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Singh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Miguel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Miguel throws and elbow that misses. Singh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miguel's guard. Nice move by Singh!
Miguel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Miguel tries to get out of the position.

Miguel scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Miguel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Singh has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Miguel off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Singh lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Miguel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Miguel, as that shot connected.

This has been an exciting period of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Aurelio Miguel will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miguel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
