Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lost Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nugent Cove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lost Angel !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Nugent Cove!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cove decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cove trying to control the action but Angel is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cove might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Angel kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Despite being in the dominant position, Nugent Cove just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Angel fails to land with a series of punches.
Angel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Angel wants it to stay on the feet.
Angel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Angel wants to stand up but Cove is controlling him.

Angel keeping moving, preventing Cove from controlling successfully.
Cove won't allow Angel to get back to his feet.

Coveis looking to pass into half guard but Angel pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Angel is in guard.
Angel wants to stand but Cove has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cove fails with a takedown attempt.
Cove shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Angel defends it nicely.
Lost Angel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nugent Cove.
Cove misses with a takedown attempt - Angel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Cove wants to pass the guard but Angel is keeping the position.

Cove is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Cove drops back looking for a leg! Angel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Angel manages to kick Cove off! Cove jumps back into Angel 's guard.
Cove throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cove in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Cove postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cove throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cove shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice takedown defense from Cove. No joy for Angel on that attempt.
Cove changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Angel tries to avoid it but Cove manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Angel to the ground. Angel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Angel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cove won't be happy with that.
Angel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cove on the ground.
Angel with the ground and pound but Cove regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Cove makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cove.
Angel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Cove working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Angel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Angel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cove bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Angel 's guard.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nugent Cove will probably get the nod.

Cove gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Angel to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cove has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lost Angel will probably get the nod.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Angel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cove did well to prevent Angel getting side control.
Cove has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Angel is working away from the top position though.
Angel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cove regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Angel .
Cove wants to get back to his feet but Angel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cove is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cove is looking for a kimura but Angel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cove to get the leverage.

Cove is just content to waste time from the top position. Angel takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Lost Angel showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Angel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
