Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, KING KONG!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tellez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of KONG's head.
Tellez misses with a two punch combination.
Tellez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but KONG swivels and escapes.
Tellez closes the distance and clinches.
KONG looking for a takedown.
KONG turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tellez takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
KONG cracks Tellez with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ground and pound from KONG seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
KONG wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tellez, who protects the arm well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
KONG fails to land a wild elbow strike.
KONG has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tellez is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. KONG yanks on the arm and Tellez is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by KONG.
