The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camacho fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Melo sprawls well initially but Camacho persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Melo is looking to improve his position.
Melo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Melo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Camacho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Camacho drops back looking for a leg! Melo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Melo manages to kick Camacho off! Camacho jumps back into Melo's guard.
Melo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Camacho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Melo is tightening it up a little... Camacho has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Camacho reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Camacho taps out! nice BJJ there by Melo!
