Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Litton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitoshi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Litton comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Litton!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hitoshi Masaru!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Litton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Masaru's hands.
Litton throws a hook but Masaru avoids it easily.
Masaru misses with a wild body shot.
Masaru on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Litton throws a good cross that connects.
Litton connects with a right hand. Masaru shakes it off.
Masaru misses with a hook. Litton ducked under it nicely.
Litton loads up on a big right hand but Masaru slips the punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Litton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Masaru sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Litton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bobby Litton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Masaru avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Litton lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like Hitoshi Masaru has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Litton thows a left - swing and a miss!
Litton moves out of range as Masaru strikes.

Litton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Masaru paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Litton throws a jab when Masaru was well out of range.
Masaru avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Litton lands with a shot to the body.
Litton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Masaru circles away from the clinch attempt.

Masaru tries a low kick but Litton avoids it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Masaru moves out of range as Litton strikes.
Litton is looking to clinch but Masaru is avoiding it.

Litton misses the jab.
Litton tries to close the distance and clinch but Masaru swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Litton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Masaru changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Litton tries to avoid it but Masaru manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Litton to the ground. Litton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Litton lunges at Masaru with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masaru's hand.
Masaru uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Litton.
Litton throws a jab but it's blocked by Masaru.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bobby Litton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Litton's corner calls for a 1-2. Litton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Litton tries a head kick but it misses.
Litton misses with a straight right.
Bobby Litton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Masaru shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Litton as he avoids it easily.
Masaru thows a left - swing and a miss!
Litton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Masaru staying out of range there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Masaru misses with a looping right.
Litton jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Masaru throws a combination that misses
and Litton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Masaru closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Masaru lands in his opponent's guard.

Masaru is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Litton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Litton has escaped and now he's on top!

Litton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Masaru looking to hit a scissor sweep but Litton is one step ahead there.
Masaru is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Litton wants to control from the top but Masaru keeps moving.
Litton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Masaru swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Masaru looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Litton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Litton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Masaru does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Litton prevents Masaru from improving his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Litton tried to score with a low kick but Masaru checks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Masaru has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Litton finds it's way round the side to connect with Masaru's head.
Masaru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Litton throws out the jab.
Masaru checks the leg kick.
Litton misses with an uppercut.

Litton lands a left and a right that send Masaru crashing to the mat, dazed. Litton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Masaru is rocked!
Masaru is holding his hands too far apart here. Litton throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Masaru is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bobby Litton!
Bobby Litton retains his featherweight title!
