The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujiwara fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dela Rocha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fujiwara's waist but Fujiwara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dela Rocha off to one side. Dela Rocha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fujiwara circles away. Fujiwara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dela Rocha swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fight stays on the outside here - Fujiwara looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fujiwara tries to clinch up. Dela Rocha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fujiwara pinned against the cage. Fujiwara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fujiwara lands a good knee to the midsection. Dela Rocha won't want to take too many of those. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tadashi Fujiwara dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fujiwara gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dela Rocha to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dela Rocha is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fujiwara looking for a sweep. Not yet Fujiwara, not yet. Dela Rocha trying to control the position from guard on top but Fujiwara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fujiwara wants to hit a switch here but Dela Rocha passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fujiwara there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujiwara taking shots to the head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fujiwara can do anything to dispel that myth. Dela Rocha looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Dela Rocha throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
You get the feeling that Fujiwara really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dela Rocha has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fujiwara's face.
Fujiwara tries to lock up and control but Dela Rocha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dela Rocha with a couple of short strikes. Fujiwara is working to get back to half guard.
Dela Rocha throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fujiwara because Dela Rocha loaded up on that one. Dela Rocha takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dela Rocha landing strikes, looking to finish! Dela Rocha scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fujiwara is squirming around, avoiding Dela Rocha's attempts to control the action. Dela Rocha landing punches. Oooooh, big shot lands for Dela Rocha! Fujiwara is hurt baaadly! Dela Rocha is firing away with more strikes - Fujiwara is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
