Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joel Night (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Azrial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azrial has chosen The fire still burns by Twisted Sister as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azrial dives in and grabs Night's left leg, looking for a takedown. Night pushes down on Azrial's head and hops out.

Azrial got a little sloppy there for a moment and Night has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Azrial has managed to get both his arms back between Night's legs - danger averted.

Night throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Azrial escapes and throws Night's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Night is staying active underneath Azrial, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Azrial fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
