Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joel Night (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Azrial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azrial has chosen The fire still burns by Twisted Sister as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Azrial! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azrial dives in and grabs Night's left leg, looking for a takedown. Night pushes down on Azrial's head and hops out. Azrial misses with a hook. Night lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Brandon Azrial has been cut. Azrial on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Azrial tries for a takedown but Night sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Night steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Azrial. Azrial should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Azrial fails to land the takedown. Joel Night has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Azrial. Night clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Night unloads a knee to the mid-section. Azrial lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Night breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Azrial throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Night scores with a one two! Azrial had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Azrial closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Azrial lands in his opponent's guard. Azrial got a little sloppy there for a moment and Night has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Azrial has managed to get both his arms back between Night's legs - danger averted. Night is pulling down on Azrial's head. It's preventing any offense from Azrial, at least for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Azrial throwing strikes from guard but Night blocks nicely. Night working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Azrial. Azrial avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Night will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Azrial trying to control the position from guard on top but Night is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Azrial wants to pass the guard but Night is keeping the position. Azrial has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Azrial avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Azrial drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Azrial jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Azrial looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Night throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Azrial escapes and throws Night's legs to the side, diving into side control! Night sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Azrial working the head and body with strikes. Night wants to control but Azrial is keeping busy and won't allow it. Night actively working from the bottom here. Night desperately trying to maintain half guard. Night is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Azrial tries to pass to full mount but Night defends it. Night wants to improve his position but Azrial is controlling well.
Night is staying active underneath Azrial, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Azrial fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Azrial tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Night swivels and escapes. A good leg kick by Night. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Azrial is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Night. Night slaps away a takedown attempt from Azrial, before circling back to the center of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joel Night dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brandon Azrial's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Night lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Night. Night lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Azrial shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Night throws a combination. Azrial tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That has opened up Brandon Azrial's cut even more. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Night closes the distance and clinches. Azrial is breathing heavily. Night escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brandon Azrial's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brandon Azrial's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
