Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cung Lau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by boom. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shane Wilson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson lands a body shot.
Wilson tries to keep at a distance but Lau has taken the fight into the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Lau.
Lau gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wilson.
A shot in the inside from Lau. Wilson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wilson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lau.
Lau lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Wilson lands a nice shot to the body. Lau is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A right hand to the body from Lau.
Wilson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

It looks like Shane Wilson has been cut. Lau's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lau throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilson. Lau listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Wilson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lau! Wilson is looking to stand but Wilson has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Lau jabs Wilson right on the nose. Wilson blinks but takes it well. No joy there for Lau, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lau with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lau throws a series of punches but Wilson avoids them all with ease. Wilson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Lau moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lau rushes Wilson with punches - Wilson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Wilson goes down! Lau follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
