The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison stalks Sims and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sims's face. Sims staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Al Sims has been cut.
Morrison scores a takedown into full mount!
Morrison can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sims is looking to escape.
Morrison controlling his opponent.
Morrison working for a guillotine from mount but Sims is in no mood to give up.
Morrison working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Morrison tries to take his opponent's back but Sims turns with him and manages to move into guard on the top. Nice work.

Sims got a little sloppy there for a moment and Morrison has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sims has managed to get both his arms back between Morrison's legs - danger averted.

Morrison has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sims can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morrison pulls Sims in close to prevent any damage.
Morrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sims gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sims stopping the sweep attempt from Morrison.
Morrison is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Morrison is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Morrison jumps guard but Sims stands there with Morrison around his waist. Morrison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morrison has Sims pressed against the cage, preventing Sims from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sims wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Morrison has him pressed against the cage.
Sims is trying to force a seperation but Morrison has the dominant position.
Morrison wants a takedown but no success here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Morrison dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Al Sims's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
No luck for Morrison with that takedown attempt.
Morrison lands a nice looking kick to the body. Sims takes a step back to recover.
Sims misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Morrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Sims which made him look bad.
Sims displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morrison.
Al Sims has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Morrison.

Morrison shoots in but Sims avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Morrison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sims as he jumps to the side.
Sims wants to clinch.
Sims throws a sloppy head kick and Morrison moves out of range easily.
Al Sims is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morrison shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sims is trying to defend but Morrison finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Morrison is looking to stall here but Sims recovers full guard.
Morrison drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sims manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Morrison has Sims in his guard.

Morrison is trying to keep Sims in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morrison escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sims gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sims is sitting in close to Morrison's body. Morrison has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sims is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sims is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Morrison.
