Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Plum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Plum has chosen Oficina G3 - Depois da Guerra as his entrance music. Edgar Plum will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Edgar Plum! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plum throws a one two combo.
Plum misses with a jab, cross combination.
Walker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Plum sprawls well. Plum wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Walker gets slowly back to his feet. Walker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Plum.
Plum is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.

Walker has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Walker shoots in looking for a takedown. Plum tries to sprawl out of it but Walker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Plum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Walker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Plum swivels and escapes. Plum lands a nice hook to Walker's body. Walker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The fight stays on the outside here - Plum looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Plum lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Plum throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease. Walker shoots in and drives through. Plum sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plum fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Horrible takedown by Walker or perhaps it was just good defense by Plum which made him look bad. Walker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Plum counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plum pushes Walker back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Walker goes for a takedown in the clinch but Plum prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Plum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Plum is looking to clinch. Walker misses with a takedown attempt and Plum makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Plum lands a jab to the head.

and Walker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Plum's guard now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Plum wants to stand but Walker is controlling the position. Walker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Plum is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Walker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Plum wants to get back to his feet but Walker is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Plum working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walker. Walker drops back looking for a leg! Plum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Plum manages to kick Walker off! Walker jumps back into Plum's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edgar Plum showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Edgar Plum's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker shoots in for a double leg but Plum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Plum throws a sloppy body shot
and Walker counters with a series of strikes. Plum will be more careful next time no doubt. Plum tries to close the distance and clinch but Walker swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Walker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Plum counters with a left and a right that stings Walker. Plum throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker keeps the fight on the outside. Walker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Plum defends it nicely. Excellent takedown into side control there by Walker. Paul Walker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Plum stops Walker from passing to mount. The strikes coming from Walker are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Walker tries for a kimura but Plum is defending well. Edgar Plum is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Walker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Plum is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Plum pushes Walker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Walker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Walker is trying to land an Americana.
