Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Guida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Champion!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida closes the distance and clinches up with Champion, looking for a takedown. Guida pushes Champion against the cage but Champion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Guida has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Julius Guida has been cut.
Champion will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Champion connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Guida! He's out on his feet! Champion rushes in and drops Guida with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sam Champion!
