Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between tony skins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trip Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenzie has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, tony skins!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Trip Kenzie!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
skins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kenzie swivels and escapes.
Kenzie looks gassed!
skins shoots in looking for a takedown. Kenzie tries to sprawl out of it but skins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kenzie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kenzie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Kenzie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
skins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kenzie is working away from the top position though.
skins is trying to stand back up but Kenzie is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round.
skins wants to get back to full guard.
skins has one foot on Kenzie's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
skins tries to clinch but Kenzie moves out of range.
skins misses with a takedown attempt
and Kenzie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in skins's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tony skins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
skins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
skins wants to sweep here but Kenzie controlling him for the moment.
Kenzie drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kenzie as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! skins screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kenzie! Nice submission victory there!
