PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake colby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). colby has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for John Franco has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake colby!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Franco lands a left and a right that send colby crashing to the mat, dazed. Franco thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Franco throws a combination. colby tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Franco plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


That has opened up Jake colby's cut even more.
Franco connects with a high kick.
colby is still on wobbly legs! Can Franco finish him?
Franco walks forward and throws a big overhand right! colby drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Franco swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from colby's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Franco!
