Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kresten poulsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MAX PAIN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kresten poulsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, MAX PAIN! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! poulsen blocks a head kick by PAIN.
poulsen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but PAIN paws at him with a jab and circles away. PAIN looking for a takedown here - he's got it. poulsen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
poulsen trying to control but he's not successful this time. PAIN is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round. PAIN holds on for dear life. poulsen looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. PAIN tries to hold on but poulsen postures up. PAIN is squirming around, avoiding poulsen's attempts to control the action. PAIN swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. poulsen tries to control but PAIN wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. poulsen throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. poulsen looking to finish with strikes here!
PAIN regains half guard. PAIN really doesn't want to stay on the ground with poulsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. PAIN is looking to escape. poulsen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. PAIN is not content to let poulsen control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. PAIN holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. poulsen is looking to stall here but PAIN recovers full guard. PAIN working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. poulsen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. poulsen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. PAIN working for a triangle but poulsen defends it easily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. poulsen throws a big shot that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. PAIN moves into range and clinches up with poulsen. poulsen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but PAIN has him pressed against the cage. PAIN has poulsen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. PAIN pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending poulsen tumbling to the mat - PAIN dives into poulsen's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now poulsen is on top in guard.
PAIN looks gassed! poulsen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. poulsen wants to control from the top but PAIN keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
MAX PAIN dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
PAIN throws a head kick but poulsen moves out of range.

PAIN shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. PAIN showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that PAIN has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. PAIN is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, poulsen has managed to free his arm - good work. PAIN is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. poulsen gets full guard. poulsen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
poulsen trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. poulsen trying to keep a closed guard but PAIN is proving a slippery customer.
poulsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. poulsen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because PAIN is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. poulsen is really struggling to control PAIN but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. poulsen closes the distance looking to clinch and PAIN counters with a takedown into side control. PAIN in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. poulsen is being controlled here. poulsen tries to improve position but can't. PAIN decides to stand back up. PAIN shoots in for a takedown and gets it. PAIN is trying to control the action in half guard but poulsen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. poulsen is trying to control but can't.
PAIN lands with a punch from half guard. PAIN content to control rather than advance. MAX PAIN has got the better of the ground game so far. PAIN has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. poulsen gets back to half guard. PAIN working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. poulsen wants to control but PAIN is keeping busy and won't allow it. PAIN prevents poulsen from standing back up.
poulsen is trying to maintain the position but PAIN is very close to passing his half guard. PAIN is pressing down on poulsen's thigh, looking to free his foot. poulsen is holding on for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
MAX PAIN showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. poulsen looks to clinch and PAIN counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by PAIN. PAIN is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! poulsen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! poulsen has escaped and now he's on top! poulsen is pushing down on PAIN's leg trying to pass to half guard. PAIN is fighting to maintain full guard but poulsen has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. PAIN tries to get to full guard but poulsen has control of the leg. poulsen is keen to just control but PAIN is a slippery customer. poulsen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. poulsen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and PAIN defends it well. PAIN regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. PAIN not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
PAIN keeping moving, preventing poulsen from controlling successfully. poulsen passes into half guard. poulsen is looking to take a break and control but PAIN is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. PAIN is concentrating on defense, preventing poulsen from advancing position. poulsen tries to pass the half guard into mount. PAIN knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. poulsen wants to lay and pray for a moment but PAIN keeps working. PAIN manages to get to full guard.
poulsen throws a big right hand that misses. PAIN keeping moving, preventing poulsen from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. PAIN wants to sweep here but poulsen controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! MAX PAIN comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well PAIN has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
