The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pig uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
A punch combination from Silva misses.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pig is able to avoid easily.
Jose Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pig moves into the clinch.
Pig takes a shot to the head.
Pig manages to pull guard.
Pig is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.
Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pig is proving hard to escape from.

Silva wants to get up but he can't break Pig's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pig looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Silva is defending well. Pig quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Silva has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Pig celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
