Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brendon Toner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Arashikage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arashikage is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica & DJ Spooky - For Whom the Bell Tolls. Thomas Arashikage acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toner walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Arashikage checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Arashikage slips under a jab from Toner.
Arashikage fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Arashikage throws a right and a left that both miss.
Toner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arashikage throws a jab when Toner was well out of range.

Toner is looking to clinch but Arashikage is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Toner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Toner goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Arashikage turns into him and now he's in Toner's guard.

Toner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Arashikage manages to get himself to full guard.

Toner is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Arashikage looks calm but he's in trouble here. Toner gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Arashikage is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Toner lets go of the hold and Arashikage can pop his arm back in it's socket.
