Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, LenDale Cleaver!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith connects with the punch.
Cleaver avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith throws a series of punches but Cleaver moves out of range.
Smith avoids the body shot from Cleaver.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cleaver.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cleaver.
Smith lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Smith scores with a one two! Cleaver had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Smith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cleaver fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick.
Cleaver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cleaver backs up against the cage.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Smith lands with a nice combination. Cleaver backs away looking to recover.
Cleaver misses the shot to the body.

Cleaver shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense.
Kyle Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LenDale Cleaver.
Cleaver closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away.
Kyle Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cleaver looks gassed!
Smith throws a right and a left that Cleaver avoids nicely.
Cleaver is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Smith.
A jab from Smith does it's job there.
Smith thuds a left hand into Cleaver's body.
Smith scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Smith scores with a one two! Cleaver had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Smith misses with a double jab.
Smith looks to land a combination. Cleaver sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Cleaver has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Nice takedown defense from Smith. No joy for Cleaver on that attempt.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cleaver backs up against the cage.
Cleaver takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Cleaver throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and moves out of range.
Cleaver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smith throws a good cross that connects.
Cleaver doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Smith lands with an uppercut that bounces Cleaver off the cage and back into rage.
Cleaver fails with a takedown attempt.
Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Cleaver is trying desperately to land a takedown but Smith is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cleaver.
A left lands for Smith.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cleaver.
Cleaver moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Smith connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cleaver momentarily.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A right-left combo lands from Smith.
Cleaver is rocked!
Smith closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Cleaver! Smith dives in looking to finish! Cleaver is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Smith!
