Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zygarath Shinsaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiago Belfort struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Zygarath Shinsaku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shinsaku throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shinsaku throws a leg kick which misses Belfort's front leg but catches the back leg as Belfort tries to avoid it.
Shinsaku tries a head kick but it misses.
Shinsaku lands a high kick!
It looks like Thiago Belfort has been cut.
Belfort fails to land with a series of punches.
Belfort stalks Shinsaku and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shinsaku's face. Shinsaku staggers backwards, shaken.
Belfort tries to move into range but Shinsaku moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Shinsaku throws a sloppy head kick and Belfort moves out of range easily.
Shinsaku pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shinsaku looks to throw the jab but Belfort is out of range.
Shinsaku lands a front kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shinsaku scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Belfort looks gassed!
Shinsaku throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Shinsaku lands a high kick!
Belfort is rocked!
Shinsaku tries a head kick but it misses.
Belfort on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shinsaku. Shinsaku obviously looking to wear him down.
Belfort takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A nice inside leg kick there by Shinsaku. That's going to slow Belfort down.
Shinsaku scoring well with a low kick there.

Shinsaku is looking to slow Belfort down with leg kicks.
Shinsaku dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Belfort. That did some damage!
Shinsaku goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Belfort is still on wobbly legs! Can Shinsaku finish him?
Shinsaku uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Shinsaku throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Belfort crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
