Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atonio Rodrigo Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogueira has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. Simon Shaw is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nogueira tries to avoid it but Shaw manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nogueira to the ground. Nogueira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nogueira throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shaw misses with a takedown attempt - Nogueira sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shaw shoots for a takedown but Nogueira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown but Nogueira shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nogueira slaps away a takedown attempt from Shaw, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shaw misses with a takedown attempt - Nogueira sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shaw tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nogueira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shaw somewhat.

Nogueira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shaw circles away quickly and effectively.

Shaw tries for a takedown but Nogueira sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nogueira napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Nogueira is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nogueira moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Shaw drops back looking for a leg! Nogueira is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nogueira manages to kick Shaw off! Shaw jumps back into Nogueira's guard.
Nogueira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nogueira is looking to sinch up a triangle. Shaw throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nogueira's body to avoid the submission. Nogueira has instead reached around Shaw's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nogueira arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
