Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kingston James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Fergusson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Big Mouth Strikes Again. The key to victory for Kingston James has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy Fergusson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.

James scores to the head and body with a nice combination! James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fergusson. Fergusson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James has his foot on Fergusson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fergusson works his way back into a safe position though. Fergusson trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. James wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Fergusson.
James is looking to improve his position but Fergusson isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kingston James dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fergusson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
James drives through and clinches with Fergusson against the cage.

James lands a nice uppercut. James digs a right hand into Fergusson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Fergusson's gas tank. James tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
James jumps guard but Fergusson stands there with James around his waist. James gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kingston James. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fergusson lands an elbow inside that James shrugs off. A head punch blocked on the inside by James. Fergusson misses with a punch on the inside.
James lands a shoulder strike. A head punch blocked on the inside by James. A short right hand to the side of the head by James. Fergusson lands an elbow just above James 's eye. With the fighters clinched against the cage, James creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fergusson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. James closes the distance and lands a one-two. James chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fergusson can pounce on him.

and James moves into the clinch. A short right from James. Fergusson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but James has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Fergusson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through James's defenses. James lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fergusson backwards. Both guys are working to get underhooks.
James jumps guard and drags Fergusson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
James had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fergusson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. James Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fergusson's back instead.

James has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fergusson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Kingston James dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fergusson walks away with a smile on his face. James gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Fergusson ducks under a wild hook from James.

Fergusson clinches up with James and pushes him back against the cage. Kingston James is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Roy Fergusson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think James has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
