Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Hearty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carson The Arson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carson The Arson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Hearty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carson The Arson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hearty wants to clinch up but The Arson keeps it at a distance. The Arson moves into the clinch. The Arson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The Arson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Arson stands up and beckons Hearty to his feet. Hearty moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right from Hearty. Hearty has had enough of the clinch but The Arson keeps him there for the moment. The Arson breaks the clinch.
Hearty looks to land a combination but The Arson avoids it well. The Arson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. The Arson showed some decent athleticism there. Hearty is trying to control but The Arson manages to pass to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. The Arson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hearty wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Arson looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hearty tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The Arson controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The Arson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carson The Arson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hearty misses with the combination.
Hearty has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by The Arson. Hearty throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The Arson lands a head kick. Hearty smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like William Hearty has been cut. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The Arson throws a front kick that sends Hearty stumbling back into the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hearty gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The Arson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Despite being in the dominant position, Carson The Arson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The Arson throws a quick inside leg kick. Hearty with a poor takedown so The Arson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The Arson forces his way into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Arson sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carson The Arson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on William Hearty's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
The Arson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Arson stands up from half guard. Hearty chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before The Arson can pounce on him.
The Arson lands with a nice combination. Hearty backs away looking to recover. The Arson moves into the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from The Arson. The Arson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Hearty working hard to break the clinch. The Arson manages to pull guard.
The Arson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hearty throws and elbow that misses. The Arson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hearty's guard. Nice move by The Arson! The Arson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The Arson stands up and waves to Hearty to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hearty looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The Arson controlling the position. Hearty working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The Arson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The Arson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hearty postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if The Arson can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hearty throws and elbow that misses. The Arson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hearty's guard. Nice move by The Arson! The Arson controlling from the top position. The Arson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hearty, up you get! Carson The Arson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hearty forces The Arson back against the cage and clinches. The Arson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A thudding body kick lands there by The Arson!
Nice uppercut lands for The Arson. That snapped Hearty's head back.
William Hearty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hearty shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches The Arson napping and manages to drive through into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hearty working the strikes but The Arson uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Arson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! The Arson gets in close and instigates a clinch. The Arson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hearty gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hearty is trying to break free.
And that's the end of the fight! Carson The Arson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well The Arson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
