Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nak Tuoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LJ Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LJ Jones struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tuoka.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Tuoka moves out of range easily.
Nice takedown defense from Tuoka. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tuoka as he avoids it easily.

Tuoka steps into range and cracks Jones with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Jones flops backwards and Tuoka dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like LJ Jones has been cut.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Tuoka from controlling successfully.
Tuoka advances position into side control!

Tuoka tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones is trying to improve his position.

Tuoka is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes there by Tuoka.
Tuoka throws a strike aimed at the side of Jones's head but Jones avoids it well.

Tuoka decides to stand back up.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nak Tuoka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of LJ Jones.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Tuoka.
Tuoka tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Tuoka sprawls well.
Some wild striking there from Tuoka.

and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jones wants to pass the guard but Tuoka is keeping the position.
Jones looks gassed!

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tuoka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Tuoka's legs - danger averted.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tuoka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tuoka has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tuoka is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.

Jones is sitting in close to Tuoka's body. Tuoka has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jones is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jones is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tuoka.
