Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Young Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Snorx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young Blood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Young Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mathew Snorx!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood throws a head kick that Snorx semi-blocks.
Snorx thows a body shot but no joy.

Snorx clinches with his opponent.
Snorx lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Snorx can't break the clinch.

Blood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snorx misses with a wild body shot.
Snorx keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Snorx works over Blood's head and body with a nice combination.
Snorx thows a body shot but no joy.

Snorx gets caught flat footed, as Blood shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Blood thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Snorx keeping full guard, as Blood tries to pass.
Blood wants to control from the top but Snorx keeps moving.

Snorx is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Blood is aware though and is defending well.

Snorx has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snorx keeping moving, preventing Blood from controlling successfully.

Snorx had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Blood is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Snorx Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Blood's back instead.
Snorx not allowing Blood to control his hands.
Snorx trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Snorx trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Blood doesn't escape.
Blood wants to control his opponent's hands but Snorx gets his hands free.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Blood is trying to defend against the choke here but Snorx has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Snorx Tightens the hold and Blood taps out furiously! Snorx displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mathew Snorx!
