Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy The Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Reaper is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bring 'em Out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fernando Braga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeremy The Reaper! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braga keeps the fight on the outside. The Reaper tries to close the distance and clinch but Braga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The Reaper doesn't manage to clinch there - Braga circles away.
Jeremy The Reaper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Reaper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Braga is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked The Reaper off and has taken his back! Braga biding his time, looking for the opening.

The Reaper tries to stand but Braga is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Reaper with a flurry of punches that miss. The Reaper stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Braga swivels though and keeps the full guard. The Reaper wants to stand but Braga is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Braga tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but The Reaper swivels and escapes. Good exchange - The Reaper coming out on top. The Reaper tries to clinch but Braga moves out of range. The Reaper throws a right hand that Braga ducks under and follows up with a left that Braga also avoids with ease. Braga keeps the fight on the outside. The Reaper misses with a series of wild punches.
The Reaper looks to land a combination but Braga avoids it well. The Reaper blocks the body kick.

The Reaper looks gassed! The Reaper tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Braga gets the takedown into side control. The referee asks Braga politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Braga prefers to stall for the moment though. Braga is looking to take a break and control but The Reaper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Braga decides to stand back up. Braga is looking to clinch. The Reaper throws a leg kick that is checked and Braga counters with a single leg into guard. The Reaper didn't expect that. The Reaper controls Braga momentarily but Braga frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Braga slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Braga might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Braga advances to half guard. The Reaper wants to get back to his feet. Braga performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Braga is thwarting The Reaper's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fernando Braga dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The Reaper looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Reaper tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Braga. Braga makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Braga. The Reaper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Braga manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Reaper manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Braga sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Braga won't allow The Reaper to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Reaper working for submissions but it's allowed Braga to get to half guard.
Braga is trying to control. The Reaper wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Braga is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Braga is looking to advance position but The Reaper won't allow it. Braga is trying to control the action in half guard but The Reaper is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The Reaper controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Braga is taking a breather. The Reaper says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Braga is trying to work for a kimura but The Reaper is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. The Reaper throws a front kick that sends Braga stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jeremy The Reaper will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
The Reaper tries to clinch but fails miserably and Braga counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for The Reaper! The Reaper is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Braga is landing with some decent strikes but The Reaper is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The Reaper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Braga looking to finish with strikes here!
Braga takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Braga connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Braga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Braga tries to control but The Reaper wriggling away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Reaper is desperately trying to improve his position but Braga has a good base and remains in mount. Braga trying to control but The Reaper is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Braga controlling the pace for now. The Reaper is trying desperately to improve position. The Reaper tries to hold on but Braga pushes him away. Braga trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Reaper is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The Reaper is trying to escape the mount.
Braga looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Braga trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The Reaper tries to hold on but Braga postures up. Braga is looking to stand but Braga has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Braga looking to control but The Reaper is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Fernando Braga showed his dominance in that final round. I think Braga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
