The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPlum throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McPlum is trying hard to land a takedown here. Evil sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McPlum fails in his attempt to clinch.
Evil misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Evil stuffs the takedown.
Evil thows a body shot but no joy.
McPlum blocks a head kick by Evil.
Evil throws a head kick that misses.
McPlum shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evil pinned against the cage. Evil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank McPlum. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Evil takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Evil lands a big head kick that sends McPlum tumbling to the mat! Evil takes a step backwards and waves McPlum back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McPlum moves in looking to clinch but Evil pushes him off.
A head kick misses from Evil.
McPlum tries to close the distance and clinch but Evil swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Frank McPlum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evil takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Evil avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McPlum throws a head kick that misses
and Evil counters with a right hand to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McPlum looks to clinch
and Evil counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples McPlum! This one is all over!
