Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Charles Payette !
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payette keeps the fight on the outside.
aldo throws a sloppy head kick and Payette moves out of range easily.
aldo tries to close the distance and clinch but Payette swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
aldo connects with a solid leg kick.
aldo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Payette swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Payette avoids the head kick by aldo.
Payette closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Payette advances to mount.
Payette connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Payette has hold of aldo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and aldo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
aldo is trying to escape the mount.
aldo is breathing heavily.
Payette controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Payette cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
aldo tries to lock up and control but Payette gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Payette raining down shots from the mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
aldo is desperately trying to improve his position but Payette has a good base and remains in mount.
Payette has isolated one of aldo's arms. aldo looking to fight him off but Payette twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
